• Music for Seniors - Sing-A-Long!
    February 9, 2019
    1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

You are invited to come out to sing, dance, play an instrument, or simply listen and talk to the residents at Abbotswood located in Raleigh.  Abbotswood at Stonehenge is an independent and assisted living community for seniors.  We would like to engage the residents with music, song, dance, and conversation.  For the sing-a-long, there is a set playlist that includes songs such as “Mr. Sandman”, “It’s a Small World”, and “You Are My Sunshine” that we will sing as a group.  Music/lyrics will be provided beforehand and we will practice from 1-2pm and then will perform for the residents from 2-3pm.  There are also a few spots for soloists if you would like to sing or play an instrument.  Please send an email to michael@reachoutnc.org if this interests you or if you have any questions about the project.

* There are no age requirements for this event.  A few days before the event you will receive an email from a ReachOUT NC project leader with more specific details regarding the project (ie, where to park, where to meet, what to bring, what to wear, etc).
