Hailing from the small town of Kinston, NC, Robb has lived in Raleigh for a little over eight years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Science degree from East Carolina University in Business Administration, he returned to his beloved hometown and fulfilled a dream as owner and manager of a thriving dance studio for 15 years. His love for teaching young people prompted interest in serving others through a number of worthwhile organizations similar to ReachOUT NC. Robb relocated to the Triangle where he taught tap and jazz for the Cary Ballet Conservatory and City Ballet of Raleigh for four years. Most recently, he returned to school at Duke University and has since landed a marketing position with NIC, Inc. Robb was honored in 2015 with NIC’s Citizen of the Year Award for leading volunteer efforts in his community. ReachOUT NC is a wonderful opportunity to continue pursuits to make an impact and serve others.
North Carolina native Ross is a graduate of UNC-CH and UNC-G and has been around the Triangle community for longer than he’d like to admit in this bio. In 1999, he landed in a private manufacturing company headquartered in Cary and launched a career that now has him in Sourcing. In this position he works with outside parties building relationships, managing contracts, and leading negotiations with an eye for risk management. He has been a member of ReachOUT NC for well over a year, actively participating in a number of projects and representing the organization at OUT!Raleigh and NC Pride. He says he joined “to fill a need in my life to give back to the community in which I live” and has used his experiences with ReachOUT NC to spearhead some projects at his company. He is looking forward to continuing to represent ReachOUT NC to the community in a new capacity on the Board.

Todd is a transplanted New Yorker, moving down to Raleigh in 1995. A Staff Scientist at Novozymes, he has a B.S. in chemistry and a M.S. in food science from City College of N.Y. and Rutgers University, respectively. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Todd and his late partner headed up the Gay Men’s Alliance of the Hudson Valley in White Plains. Todd has been involved with ReachOUT since 2014, and has become a “Super Volunteer” over the years. He welcomes the opportunity to serve on the board and to bring his volunteerism to the next level. He is also an active supporter of the LGBT Center of Raleigh and the Raleigh Business and Professional Network. When not volunteering, Todd enjoys photography (he was a featured artist at the LGBT Center’s First Friday series), old cars, dining out, traveling, being an audience member at a production of one of the Triangle’s many local theaters, and is always on the look-out for a classy piano bar. Occasionally you may see him warbling a show tune at karaoke.
